Our Vision
At House Of Praise, we have a mandate for Mission:
Mission 1: To prepare and develop mature disciples as well as raise leaders who will in turn raise other leaders.
Mission 2: To our immediate communities (local outreach); reaching the lost for Christ and using every available means to depopulate the kingdom of darkness and populate the Kingdom of God. One of the ways we achieve this is in church planting.
Mission 3: To reach other parts of the world (international outreach) with the word of God and financial help.
In fulfilling our 3-fold mission mandates, we provide opportunities for the following:
Worship:
Cultivation of true worship in our churches.
Relationship:
Building of lasting friendships and relationships, providing unique accommodating atmosphere where friendship is bred and family ties strengthened.
Discipleship:
The bedrock of our church ebullient workforce.
Services:
Disciples up to provide services for the Lord and profiting with their gifting.
Witnessing:
All members of our church are trained and turned into true witnesses; making them get committed more than ever to the great commission. This will, in turn, lead to the un-reached in our immediate communities becoming reached and assimilated into the body of Christ.
OUR MISSION STATMENT
As a church, we are “committed to the great commission and obedient to the great commandment.”
The great commission is: “Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew 28: 19-20
The great commandment is: “Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it; thou shall thy neighbour as thyself.” – Matthew 22: 37-39
